Sangat members and the children from the Punjabi classes attended a “National Mother Tongue” event held at Croydon Town hall celebrating Languages from around the world. The children presented the Punjabi Alphabet and celebrated Gurmukhi. Well done to the children for a fantastic event!
New intercom system
Croydon Punjabi School & Santhiya Students and the Sadh Sangat visited Pothi Seva’s workshop at Havelock Road Gurdwara. We were shown and taught how Saroops are prepared, how the paper and ink is made, and how Pothi Seva use special techniques to repair Saroops.
Baba Deep Singh Ji Presentation by 10 year old Kirpal Singh
Workshop: the Satkaar & Maryada of Guru Granth Sahib Jis sewa, educating all sangat on the importance of learning how to do Sewa of Maharaj Saroop and how to protect Maharaj Saroop from any damage. We also showed the documentary by Pothi Seva to which we are forever grateful for their work and effort in this invaluable education and the great documentary they put together.
